First let me explain what it means to tone arms or any other body part.

Toning is simply a combination of losing fat and building muscle. When you do that your arms will be firmer and slimmer.

How to tone arms by burning fat.

You cannot choose to burn fat from only your arms because we are not in control of where our body stores and burns fat. All we can do is turn the fat burning switch ON or OFF.

In order to burn fat from arms you have to burn fat from all over the body including the arms.

The best way to burn fat (and thus to tone arms) is to use exercises for the entire body.

How to tone arms by building muscle.

Even if you have low body fat level, you’ll have to build a little muscle in order to really tone arms.

And the best way to do this is not with arm exercises, but with chest and back exercises that involve your arms.

Luckily those exercises are also a great choice for burning fat.
